Boldfield Support Contract

Overview

Boldfield Support offers both remote and on-site service for computer systems.

There are three service options

• Boldfield Remote View
• Boldfield Support
• Boldfield ProActive

Boldfield Remote View

Boldfield Remote View can be used by the Customer to obtain both telephone & remote access support from Boldfield.

Remote View will allow Boldfield to diagnose problems and to answer user queries, however, the PC and a broadband connection all need to be operational to allow Boldfield to access the system.

Boldfield Support

Boldfield Support is a total package incorporating Boldfield Remote View, remote monitoring of the customers server and an on-site service whereby a Boldfield expert will visit the Customer’s site to diagnose & remedy problems.
With this service Boldfield would have Remote Access to the customers server at all times and we would set parameters
so that the server warns us of any issues which we can normally fix in “background” mode – without a visit and prior to
the customer notifying us of a problem.

This service also covers all of the Customers call outs for the period (usually an annual contract). The service is designed to replace ad hoc support call outs.

Boldfield ProActive

This allows Boldfield to provide a ProActive service to the customer – this includes installing appropriate and
recommended Microsoft updates to PC’s and the server, performance checking of the system, identification and removal of spyware, adware and viruses.

Boldfield ProActive is offered on the basis of a monthly check (more frequent checking can be available on request) and
is suitable for companies who want the piece of mind of knowing that their system is regularly updated & maintained.

Key Points

In order for the Remote View service to work the Customer must maintain a broadband connection with a reputable provider with and access speed of at least 1 Megabit per second.

The services are only available for PC’s & Servers that that have been notified and registered in advance or are rented from Boldfield.
